May have been better off posting this here.
My 35 gallon hex has a incandescent type fixture, (the screw in type). Would 2 regular 100watt bulbs or 2 100 watt compact flourescent be better for these plant types.
2 anacharis or water sprite
2-3 java fern
3 golf ball sized java moss attached to charcoal bamboo
1 variegated wisteria
Everything about 5" tall. With black sand substrate to hide some red cherry shrimp. Any other ideas on the plants would be greatly appreciated also.
I only have 1 other tank and all i can keep is java fern because my cichlids eat everything else, so this is my 1st chance to get some different plants, which is why i was leaning towards kinda simple.

Welcome to AA!

I deleted your post in the aquascaping forum, I agree this is better suited here.

For those plants you listed, you do not need nearly that much light. I would consider a 65W compact fluorescent, unless you're looking to get into higher light plants.

Heh, 1st post is a miss post, not my best day. I'll stick with the 65 watt then, thanks for helping on both matters :)
