Hey there people, I thought I would continue my thread here about my 35g tank since it's meant to be planted.
Tank has just finished cycling and I'm slowly adding plants and fish. I'm just not sure which fish when. They are all pretty sensitive fish.

My lfs didn't have many plants when I went in so when I go tomorrow I should fill it out a little bit more.
Also have some java fern from small tank that I can split off for the drift wood.
Let me know what you guys think.

Things have progressed quite a bit in last week.

Any thoughts . Thanks guys

Your tanks look great! What type on lighting are you using on both tanks? That tank on the right is interesting, too... what kind is that one?

35g has dalau ss freshwater led ( local australian company)

Small tank is 7g all in one by aquatopia. Lighting is pretty poor so only have java moss and fern.
When moss starts growing some more I'm hoping to take my first venture into shrimp keeping.

Ah I see... Aussie! You guys have unique tanks that are different from what we have access to. Explains why I couldn't recognize the tank aquatopia.

I think I recall hearing that shrimp are hard to get in Australia. True?

Couple of photos from today, male cockatoo has doubled in size. Harlequin rasbora (piranhas) have also grown rather large quickly. And final pic of a Cory hasbrosus lounging on a crypt.
Unfortunately no full tank pics till I sort this algae/diatom problem :(

Beautiful tank and beautiful fish! But is it just me or does the wood on the left look like it's trying to mate with the wood on the right?

Finally getting algae back under control. No full tank shots yet. Will add some plants tomorrow and then a full tank shot. Just thought I would show how my sword is flowering now I have diy co2 ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1394638294.996789.jpg

Second photo is my bettas bubble nest, he keeps making it every week despite it getting ruined every water change

New full tank shot. Got a few new stems and got rid of a lot of plants that were covered in algae.
Will be swapping my bristlenose pleco soon, his bioload is too high for a fish that I never see. Will probably get 4-5 otos in hope they will clean some algae up for meImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1394675673.663372.jpg
