Okay I need some help with some plants of mine, first of I got floramax substrate with diy root tabs and diy co2, also got a finnex planted+ led light along with my diy sliding glass top. Now that that information is out of the way.
I recently had ich in my tank and right now i have the temp at 90 degrees and about two weeks ago i put salt into the tank, but 5 50 pct water changes later the tank doesnt have anymore salt, but i do still have it at 90 degrees just as a precaution to kill any left over ich. My plants suffered from the temp and salt and some of the medicine i was using for the ich. The main plants that suffered were my st.repens which kinda melted off. Should i replant them and pluck off the dead leaves?
Now i have alternanthera reineckii which i bought at petsmart which were basically dead but a few weeks now they have come to life but im wondering how can i make them more red? Right now they are a dark brownish color and only the bottom are red, could it be the temperature? I do dose seachem iron and flourish and excel.
Now my bacopa caroliniana the bottom leaves seem to be doing better unlike the top ones which arnt growing as much as the bottom ones.
Any help will be appreciated thanks guys.
The pictures are of my tank 3 months to now.
