I am a month into cycling my tank. I'm past the green hair algae stage and now there is a green film-like algae on the glass. Will this too pass like the green hair?

Well for one, if your cycling your tank. Then a) you should have no livestock b) lights should be off c) no light means no algae.

Whether it will pass or not depends on many things.

If you are a month into cycling your tank. How have your parameters been? Nitrate? No ammonia, nitrite? If you have any amount of liverock,sand, any fish in tank at all? You could very well be thru the nitrogen cycle??
