I'm planning in upgrading my old tank to a 46g bow front

Realistically how many African cichlids can I put In there.

I really like demosoni, yellow labs, and maybe some of the smaller peacocks.
I also would like to add a bristlenose pleco if possible.

If there are any other Africans you recommend go ahead. Thanks!!!

hmm, im no expert, but maybe 2-3 groups of 4 cichlids.
1m, 3f.
some yellow labs would work.

i did in my 40g tank, and it worked, but its trail and error.

You might want to post this in the Cichlid forum (or ask a moderator to move it there); you'll get more replies from people with Cichlid experience. In a 46, you might need to stick with dwarf Cichlids but the people there would be able to give better input.
