Is it any good for plants? I can't find any with a higher kelvin range. Will this work for low to med. plants?

Fort? Aquachem? River? And the one that's really got it Goin on.... is this a punk bulb or what?

I'm not good with lighting and LED's especially. PM Brian_Nano12g as he's good with the LED lighting.

As long as you are getting good penetration and good spread it should be fine. Unless you are getting into optimum growth rates and all that jazz the Kelvin temp is really a personal viewing decision so long as you stay between 3000 and 10000.

I changed all 4 of my cfl's on my 40b to try and get better growth. Originally I had 13w 4200k daylights. Now I have 3-23w 5000k daylights and the one led, so we'll see what happens i guess.
I thank you 2 for the feedback and Brian_nano for the pm.

I'd like to add that I really like the shimmering effect the led gives through the water column and on the substrate.
