As long as you are getting good penetration and good spread it should be fine. Unless you are getting into optimum growth rates and all that jazz the Kelvin temp is really a personal viewing decision so long as you stay between 3000 and 10000.
I changed all 4 of my cfl's on my 40b to try and get better growth. Originally I had 13w 4200k daylights. Now I have 3-23w 5000k daylights and the one led, so we'll see what happens i guess.
