55 gal Maingano Species Tank

Hi Guys,

I've got 6 Maingano in a mbuna 55 gal community tank that are a little too rowdy. No way, I'm getting rid of them, they're my favorite. Picked up another 55 gallon on sale and plan on doing a Maingano species tank. I've got 6 already, how many more could I comfortably add? I was hoping to do a total of 12 - 13. Also , would clown loaches be okay with them? Thanks.

Don't know Mich about chiclids but clown loaches need to be in schools and grow up to a foot so I would not get any clowns. If you want a bottom feeder that can be with African chichlids cockatoo catfish would work.
