55 Gallon Build thread So I got bored with planted freshwater and decided to finally make the switch to saltwater FOWLR.

As of a few days ago:
Equipment:
Aquatech 30-60 HOB filter will be converted to a HOB Refugium
Magnum 350 will now be primary filtration
Two Koralia 750 GPH powerheads
Two 54 watt 48" T5 (one actinic, one 10,000 K)
Coralife Super Skimmer 65G
Heater (I'll have to check what it is when I get home)
Forgot to take pictures but I put eggcrate on the bottom, then enough sand to just cover it, then the base rock and the rest of the sand:
Took a couple days to make all of the RO water but I got it filled, up to temp, and then I moved over most of the live rock from the 10 G quarantine tank:
Last thing I did last night was throw a raw shrimp in to get the cycle going.
