55 gallon centerpiece ideas.

Hello,

I'm starting a 55 gallon community tank with
20 Neon Tetras
15 Tiger Barbs
10 Cory Catfish
2 M/F Bristle Nose Pleco

I know i got a good amount of fish in already but I'm trying to think of a centerpiece for tank. I was thinking Angle but I worried their fins will get nipped. Looking for any ideas.

Maybe go with a larger gourami

I think their a short fin varieties of angels maybe those would be better.

I'd be more worried about an angel eating your neon tetras. What about a pair of dwarf gourami?

Two comments. First, I am not fond of the idea of a centerpiece fish. Why one single fish of a species? Most fish do much better in groups.
Second, Tiger Barbs and Neons together? Not a good idea. Tiger Barbs are aggressive, even in groups.
Add a couple of gouramis - Pearl Gouramis are attractive and peaceful.

Chill out dude . The neons are providing exercis and enrichment for the barbs and the neons get the exercise. If a barb can catch a neon than the neon prolly wasn't all that healthy and maybe sick.

Barbs harassing neons provides exercise? That's one way to define aggression, I guess. Prolly?
