55 gallon convict cichlid tank

If I get a pair of breeding convict cichlids how often and how much will they breed and can I feed the small 1/2 inch young to my Oscar. Also if there a breeding pair in a 55 gallon can I get any tankmates that can live with them?

Convicts will breed easily and regular, you can use their fry as feeders if you wish. I would not put anything in a tank with as they get so agressive i had a breeding pair of convicts and they would attack evrything in the tank including my Blue Acara which was twice their size.
