I recently upgraded from a 10g to a 55g. I transferred over much of the old tank (filter parts and media, 5g water, 2 lava rocks, some small flake plants and fish). New tank was set up the week of jul 21st so its been running for almost 3 weeks. Ammonia, nitrites and nitrates look good so far. Is it too early to assume tank is cycled?
Fish:
2 dwarf plecos
2 white clouds
2 sarpae tetra
3 punctatus cory
4 kerri tetras

All fish seem good since the switch.

If cycle is ok, any suggestions for additional stocking? ?

I think it s possible you re ok. Need to know what you re using to test (strips vs liquid test kit) & what are your readings?
Would still add fish slowly, a couple a week & hold off on fish that need established tanks just to be safe.

Liquid and zero ammonia. Zero nitrite. Nitrate under 40. Did a 5 gal water change after tests as well.

By adding seeded media into your tank you are cycled with those readings.

As for your stock it would help to increase these:

2 white clouds- add at least 4 more
2 sarpae tetra- add at least 4 more
3 punctatus cory- add at least 3 more
4 kerri tetras- add at least 2 more

All these fish do better in schools and the cory's in larger shoals.

Thanks. Any recommendations for new species?

You have enough schooling fish so why not think about something like a Pearl Gourami or a couple of Angelfish?

Got 4 more serpae to start.....considered khuli loaches but owner said they like to hide and can be boring.
