6 gallons!! Yeah im crazy.

So I started a six gallon mini reef. I'm looking for some suggestions on lighting I currently have a t-8 coral sun in it, quartz 100w heater, aqua clear 30 H.o.b. filter, and a power head and salinity hanging around 1.025. Just cycling now with some live rock. Looking for any and all suggestions stocking/equipment!! Thanks in advance.

Yes it is!! They had them on clearance for twenty bucks at my petco and obviously I just make a couple tweaks

Added a heater and got a better bulb.

Reef sun fluorescent. Saving up for some LEDs the button polyps and coralline algae are growing amazing. I didn't buy them specifically. They came on live rock. So it was a pretty awesome deal.

The light is amazing. I'm working on setting up a 5 gallon reef tank

I used a par 38 on my 5 gallon. Worked well. No I have it over my 20. Which doesn't cover everything as well.

It's pretty stable knock on wood! Salinity and h20 evaporation are the biggest challenges

My biggest concern wouldn't be the water quality (having kept a 2.5, 5.5, and 8 gallon reef myself, I know it's quite doable), but the actual tank itself. When you get to the point where coralline algae takes off, it's going to be very difficult to scrape it off the areas you want to keep clean, without scratching the tank.

I stuck with t5, everything seems to be doing great!
