I have been looking for a good price on a used 75 for awhile, and haven't been able to find one. I did come across a 90 for a very good price.. but I am concerned about the height. I plan to do a fresh water planted tank, and I am short.. 5'2". How hard is it to maintain a 90 when you can barely reach the bottom? I'd have to stand on a step stool and be up to my arm pits in the water.

Sounds very familiar! I have a 2.5ft deep tank. Large gravel vac's and step ladders help.

Generally only when I'm planting is it a pain. And of course natty carpet plants and scissor trimming go right out the window.

But for maybe 30 minutes maximum of getting wet each week, the rest of the time I have a much larger tank to enjoy. Generally my advice is always get the larger tank.
