9 gallon nano

Hi I'm new to salt water tanks and I was just hoping to get some advice on my tank and what you guys think of it also I have one fish in there that my friend caught and put in there could someone please help me identify it as I got no clue thanks :)

Looks like a goby for sure, maybe a watchman or scooter Blenny.
 
Yeah I think it probably would just after that you should probably not get any more fish in a 9 gallon. One problem I think gobys mostly thrive in cooler water while clowns are tropical, but it would probably be fine.
 
I see you already have a heater I. Your tank so if he been ok so far he will probably be fine:)
 
Probably high nutrient flakes and frozen food o ce weekly you cod feed him some kind of shrimp
 
I'll go to my LFS and see what they have I have some beef heart cubes in my freezer do you think that would be okay and should I just drop it in there or try use tweezers and hold it in front of his face?
 
Yeah but only a VERY small amount beef is very high in fat
 
Okay I'll cut a tiny bit off and try hold it in front of him if not I'll sit it in the tank and see if he will eat it
 
Sorry it has been so long:( yeah that would work...is your tank cycled just curious
 
It's still cycling the fish died I thought it was done but it's just had its nitrates and ammonia spike tonight

Your nitrAtes shouldn't be zero but your nitrItes should be
