i am going to start a 90 gallon cichlid tank. I will be running a rena filstar xp4 filter. This is going to be what I plan on having in the tank.
7x Cobalt Blue Zebras
7x Yellow Lab Cichlids
7x Pseudotropheus Acei

I would like some recommendations on what type (if any) of synodontis I could put with these and also what type of algae eating fish would work. According to AqAdvisor I am at a 120% stocking level. It said on the site that mbuna fish should be overstocked slightly.

Aquaadvisor tries to understock your tank. Sound a like good stock just make sure you have multiple females per male. A group of really any syno cat would work. Petricola is the most common for a reason.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking 3 females per male so I may have to go with 8 on each fish
I looked at the petricola which I like. Thought maybe 3 of those. I could add a whisper 30-60 hob filter on top of the Rena xp4 If I need to.

Thanks again. Also, would flying foxes be alright to put in the tank
