Yeah haha if I can get the test kit to work... Sigh, think I'm going to have to go pick another one... A stabilised tank should read 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites and 20 or less nitrates right? The PH is quite high, 7.4 or even higher.

That's exactly right as for ph I don't even test for it fish adjust well to any ph my ph is 8.5 and I keep everything lol just float bag and add a cup of tank water every 15 mins for an hour then pour in they will do fine

Yeah aye, I could go get PH down and all that crap but I bet you any money it would just create more problems then it would solve!

Yes it would fish do a lot better in stable water then ph jumps from trying to fix it

Just make sure you try to slowly add your water to the fish in the bag to get them adjusted to the Ph.. where they do adjust well.. they don't adjust instantly
