A good algae eater?

I need an algae eater that grows about a foot long to go along with my two red bellies, any favorites out there?

How big is your tank?. Plecos can reach between 18" - 24" so need pretty big tanks ideal size 125g. hopefully you'll get suggestions from more experienced members later. good luck!!.

I have a 29 gallon right now they're only like 4" right now so I'm planning on upgrading the tank later on

JMO... never get a fish that will require a larger tank unless you already have the larger tank. Plans change, life happens, etc. Your best bet for algae issues will be a mag float, reduced lighting, etc.

+1 for HN1. Nerite snails may be an option if the piranhas won't eat them.
