A loner scavenger

Im in search of a freshwater scavenger fish that doesn't require friends to be happy. I love cory's but apparently you have to have several to make them happy. Is there anything -other than a snail- that can be alone in a small 10 gal tank?

That's going to be a tough one. You could do 5 panda corys in a 10 assuming there's not a ton more fish in there.

smaller fancy pleco? You would really need to keep up on water changes. But I think a fancy pleco would be interesting to watch.
