add rock???

A friend of mine has about 30 lbs of live rock that he has had for about 10 months in his 70gal setup. Would I be able to put it into my set up with out worries? He had ick awhile ago in his tank. About 5 months ago. Any tips.

How was the crypt treated (if at all)? Be wary of adding any rock that's been in a mediacted tank, especially copper. If no treatment was implemented, you should QT the rock seperately for two months before adding to your tank. There is a good chance it will transfer tomonts along with it if so.
