Adding rock?

Hey guys

So my mom brought me back some dead coral and a piece of rock from Hawaii and prob about 5 to 10 lbs...I have about 55 lbs of live rock in my tank and want to add this rock but dont want any cycle and dont want any chance of death in my tank so how should I go about this? Here's a pic of the rock and it's dry and pretty sure it's like base rock now she found it on the beach and I just rather be safe then sorry

Nope.

I would put it on a shelf as decoration and leave your tank alone. But that is just me

Boil it,rinse it then put it in your qt for a while if you dont have one then i dnt know what to do
