So I have my Eco-complete. How much washing should I give it? Obviously it comes with water, and says to discard if it's going into an established aquarium, however how much do i wash it prior to adding, as I don't want to wash the nutrients away?

You don't have to wash it at all, I just add the entire bag, added the biomagnet clarifier, gave it an hour or so to settle and then turned the filters on.

Since the tank is established I guess you could drain the liquid off first, if you really wanted you could rinse it down but I probably wouldn't bother.

Excellent. Sounds good to me, I might just keep the water then as its meant to be full of good bacteria.

Thanks again for your help.

The water is not full of good bacteria. They will be adhered to the solid surfaces in your tank and filter.

Yeah it's ok, I understand. It's actually packed in with water which contains heterotrophic bacteria, which is what I meant. Thanks anyway.
