ADF Tankmates-5.5 Gallon Tank

I have a 5.5-gallon aquarium, which will the sixth aquarium I've kept. I have an African Dwarf Frog and am thinking about tankmates for him, mainly invertebrates or catfish. Any ideas?

I don’t think there’s any catfish species that would work in that small a tank.

And dwarf shrimp might become a frog snack. Snails should be fine though; I prefer nerites for their lack of freshwater reproduction and pretty patterns.

You could also try a larger species of shrimp like an amano or ghost. Personally I’d probably go with ghosts so if you’re not out much financially if they become snacks. They’ve got fun little personalities too and very active.
