Advice on Floaters

My floating foliage keeps getting sucked into the filter down flow any advice to prevent plunging my floating plants?

You can try airline tubing in a large circle to keep them away. Baffle the output of the filter with a water bottle cut to fit and have the water exit the sides.

That airline tubing might be a good idea. I’m currently using my former betta’s leaf beds and a lotus lounger.

There’s fish, the murkiness was from taking plants out of the gravel.

Advice on making a floating plant corral correctly? I’ve included a photo of the top of my tank.

Use a sponge filter instead of a power filter.

So buy a new filter. Any advice on how to make a proper corral though?
