i have 5 baby ghost shrimps right now and i want to do a partial water change tmorrow they are in a 1 gallon bowl. I'm wondering should i put dechlroinator into the bowl also? would it harm the shrimps??
plz get to me asap :). TIA.

YES! Dechlorinator doesnt not harm fish while chlorine is extremely toxic to them. Never keep any living thing in chlorine water.

The ghost shrimp need their water dechlorinated like fish do.

Though I am wondering how you would treat a fraction of a gallon...

It has also been my experience that if you go _way_ over on the dechlorinator it will kill the shrimp.

I have a 1oz bottle of Tetra AquaSafe that calls out 8 drops per gallon - makes it easy to measure for small tanks, but not very useful now that I have a 75G

LOL! I guess that wouldn't do much for top off water even.
