I have a community tank with male an female ADF, a pleco an 7 little fish (can't remember their type). There wasnt problems until now since I got a pleco (I got him as a baby). For some reason the male ADF an the pleco do not like each other. They stay on opposite sides of the tank for the most part but sometimes will go to the other side an fight. Which is weird cause they don't do that with the other fish. I'm worried since the pleco is getting big fast that he will kill my male ADF. I got the pleco algae wafers an hoping that will help. I believe the ADF messed with the pleco when I first got him (a baby) but now he's bigger an fighting back.

Has anyone else had this problem or anything similar with plecos and/or ADFs?

What size tank do you have?

Do you have any caves for your Pleco?

What kind of Pleco do you have?

Do you have wood for your Pleco?

How long have you had this tank set up?

What are the water parameters?

Are you familiar with the nitrification cycle? If not, check out the article link at the bottom of this post in my signature which will give you a good deal of helpful information for happy tank keeping.
