ADFs..... Would they be alright in a lightly planted 5.5g heated and filtered tank with a betta and 2 ghost shrimp? If so how many? (also, the tank doesn't have a hood)

Are dried bloodworms alone sufficient for their diet?

If the frogs don't do, what else can fit comfortably in the tank. It looks a bit empty...

A pair might be fine in there as long as your tank isn't deep. Frozen (thawed) might work better if you plan on feeding them bloodworms. They have bad vision so dropping food close to them helps. Two or Three times a week. :fish2:

The best foods are HBH frog and tadpole bites, frozen bloodworms, frozen mysis shrimp, and frozen brine shrimp (it's good to rotate some of these for variety). Avoid other pellet/dry type foods, because they can constipate frogs. You'll have to feed them by hand as they are nearly blind and the betta might go after the food first. Plus it depends on the Betta whether he'll tolerate the frogs.

10-16 inches is the best depth for them because tanks over 16 inches are pretty hard for them to reach the surface all the time.

That is essential because they will escape if they don't have a hood and will die in about 15 minutes.
