Aiptasia?

One more for you guys tonight.

Here's a sneaky one, it literally appeared 10 min after i took this first photo. It first looked like a little ball, not attached to the wrong but kinda on this loose algae you see.

Then slowly it opened up it's tentacles. Seems to have white spots at the tips.

Verdict?

Hard to say, it could be aiptasia, but it looks more like a mini feather duster.
 
Doesnt look to be aiptasia but DOES look to be another type of bothersome anemone. Not sure what kind though...Im guessing it hides when touched?

Yep, Majano would be my guess. Could be a baby majano. They are bad like aiptasia. I think Joes Juice works on them too and is best to get them early on.

Turns out it was an Aeolid Nudibranch. :eek:

After eliminating this one (who attacked the anemones in the pic the next day), 5 others showed up in other areas of the tank.

Lessons learned: If it moves and has tentacles = automatic eviction.

haha, unless it is pretty colored. then you sell it or keep it.
