No and trust me I have been told a bunch I should of tested my water and did a cycle before putting in my fish but I had a 10 gallon tank full of goldfish and never did a cycle and never tested the water I just changed it every two weeks some times sooner but I never had any problems then I decided I wanted a bigger tank and different fish not just goldfish and then I rushed into it and didn't let my tank set for one day (only prob 3 or 4 hours) then I tried to add 14 fish at once and now I only have 7 left but I plan on taking them back cause I was also told on here that the fish I have left need a bigger tank than the one I got and none of them are compatible so I am just trying to keep these fish alive till I go back to the pet store so I can return these fish and buy a test kit
