Hi all,

I need the community input.

I introduced a Red Sevrum about 7-8" in my new 125-gallon aquarium. An hour later I introduced my Albino Oscar 5-6" in the 125-gallon aquarium. The two were getting along for the few hours. However, the Red Sevrum has started to chase the Oscar. The Oscar is trying to get away from the Severum, but the Severum keeps looking for the Oscar....trying to nibble.

It's been less than 24 hours since they've been in the 125-gallon.

The Severum is a female and I don't know what the Oscar is.

Should I leave them in the 125-gallon aquarium hoping the chasing will stop, or separate them?

Thank you.

Good chance the sevrum will kill the baby Oscar.

If the Oscar was lg. it most likely would kill the sevrum.

I've moved the Severum in the 55-gallon aquarium with no other tank mates. The Oscar is much comfortable swimming in the 125-gallon aquarium.

I'll Re-introduce the Severum when Oscar reaches 10".

Thank you for your input.
