So now that I have my new lights, algae is growing. I figured it probably would becuase I havn't had and direct light on the tank since I bought it. How can I get rid of it?

thanks. Do you know how I can get coraline algae to grow? I have a little bit on one of my rocks. How can I get it to spread? will it compete with nuiscance algae and keep it from growing so much?

Scrape off a little and let it settle on other rocks. Also what cuc do you have?

Get a few snails, they work wonders.
You might also want to cut down on how long you keep ur light on. That might solve the issue

How about a UV steriliser, it cleaned up our algae issues on our sand in a week and also it's killed off an outbreak of ich in our tank without QT, our clown was on his last legs and is looking great now.
