Hey

So i have been having the most massive problem with algea. I think it was hair algea and green carpet algea but the thing is that i having nothing to get rid of it i blacked out that worked for a day the it came back i scrub it off every 2 days. So i was wondering if i could put a bristle nose around 2" in my shrimp tank. The inhabitants are 3 bronze cories 1 peppered about 5 adult shrimp and 3 1-2cm long shrimplets?
So i have another question my clown loaches love to pig out when i feed them. I feed them these vege wafars and they eaat them and then go really fat, i dont know if its bloating i will post a picture of it. If so should i stop feeding those algea wafars or just feed them peas and the cucamber and flake?
Here are some pictures

I wiped the algea off but down the bottom you can sort of see it
What do you mean when you say are the loaches eating it? If you mean the algea they are in a different tank all together

How about putting some otos in instead? That green algae along the wall will still be there though. I wouldn't put a bristle nose in but that's just me. That clown loach is definitely being overfed.

You can start dosing more Seachem Excel on a daily basis and that will definetely clear up the green/hair algae. However, your shrimp won't appreciate it and will go into hiding until it is over.
