Algone - good or bad??

Has anyone used algone in their tank. Alot of people say that it works very well. I have not used it long enough to tell. I wonder what other people's experience is with the product. From what I have read it is nitrate loving plant material packaged in a tea bag type pouch.

I've used it. It Works to control algae. If you have algae eaters...obviously you will cut off their supply....
