I just bought 10#'s of indopacific LR and last night under the moonlights I saw a long warm like creature. I cant get any photos of it because evertime I turn on the lights to get a picture it runs and hides, but I can try and describe it. It is anywhere from 2 to 4 inches long, depending on whether it is stretched out or not. the best that I can describe it is that it looks like a millipeded or centipede in structure. I cant see if it has a head or not but it crawls around on the bottom of the tank in search of food.

Any ideas on what this maybe? Is it harmful to corals and inverts, and if so how do I capture it?

Thanks for you help 8O

A bristleworm perhaps? They are a beneficial detrivore... here's a pic
