Hi all.
I bought some Amano shrimp and fresh water prawns. After a month they have not came out. I don't know what is scaring them as tank is very healthy and water parameters are perfect. Have co2 injection with regular fert dosing

Current inhabitants are
2 angel fish
2 black widow tetras
Neons
Harlequin rasboras
Rummy nose tetras
5 discus 8 to 10cm (currently trying to sell them)
4 ramirezi
Siamese algae eaters and 2 plecos

Would appreciate feedback thanks. Good day

I'd say, just as a quick thought, that they're probably hiding from the Angel Fish, Angels usually make fast food out of shrimp.

Discus will eat pretty much any fish or crustacean that will fit in their mouths.

At the moment, you've got the little guys, if they're still around, in a world of fear and terror.

The Angels and the Discus both eat shrimp. They will both, when big enough, actively hunt shrimp constantly.

I used to put white clouds and Ghost Shrimp into my old 40L where I had three angels, they'd go nuts and hunt down a dozen shrimp in a few days.
