Have just got over bba and was wondering if the leaves on my sword just reacted to the bba or just died due to lack of light from the algae being on the plant all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

thats possible, are you using any type of ferts? like root tabs for the amazon swords since they are heavy root feeders

Amazon Swords leaves I've found don't react well to being spot treated with liquid carbon (excel/api co2 booster). Don't know if you treated them but if you did this is common. You need to remove those big damaged leaves so the plant doesn't waste energy on them. Don't worry about removing them as new leaves will grow and the plant will look much better.
