Amethest and amazonite in aquarium

Was wondering if I could replace my gravel with rough crystal stones. I know amethyst is fine but what about amazonite?

Hi, I would of thought amazonite to be fine. If I did try it, I'd go for fresh rock (not weathered) in the belief that this would be more impermeable just in case. One point would be that the crystal edges may be sharp and cut fish mouths, etc so I guess some care would be needed with selection.
