Hello, so i recently moved into my apartment up at school and tested my tap water which has an unusually high ammonia content at between .5 and 1 ppm so my question is that if i am cycling a new 55g tank (fishless cycle of course:)). Will that water be okay to use for water changes in an established tank or will i have to find an alternative. if so would anyone have any suggestions.

A fully cycled tank should process that amount out without a problem. Normal water changes with tap water should be fine.
