Hey I have a question. This morning I was working in the tank and a small cluster of zoas that my urchin was wearing got knocked off. They floated right into the tentacles of my rock anemone. As soon as they landed he grabbed them and ate them. Will they hurt the anemone? Would the anemone finally spit them out and if not would he be harmed?

I'm interested to find out about this if the zoas released there palytoxins I'm guessing it could be bad for the nem but I could be wrong

not all zoos carry palytoxins, it is uncommon to find them in the reef hobby, but it does happen as their species are very hard to differ one from the other, but you should haw ays use caution when handling them
