Anemone Down

I have a sabe anemone that has been through a lot. He hasn't been lookin too good, but hanging on. Now he's been looking like this. Should I take him out or is there still some life to him?

Uhh looks dead to me.... Why didnt you put him on a rock so he could attatch?

He was, he moved himself away from the rock and detached himself a couple days ago. That's when I started to get worried.
