Angel tankmates

Does anybody have experience with angelfish and golden wonder killies, or emperor tetras.
I have a 40 gallon community with 3 angels and I am debating what sort of fish to add once I remove the platys who are currently in the tank with them (they platys are going into their own tank so I can save a few more fry).
At the moment, I am in favor of rummy nose tetras, but I was curious about a few other species.

I would certainly look for something small to keep the focus on the angels, like cardinal tetra's or cherry barbs would work well.

I personally would go with cardinal tetras or head and tail light tetras.

I think some sort of rasboras like harlequins would look great in there.

Cardinal tetras are pretty. I have heard mixed reviews about keeping them with angels though because some people say they will get eaten. But, I know they get bigger than neons, so should they be ok? Any other ideas? I am not a big fan of cherry barbs. The danio choprai are really neat looking though.

Ive always loved rummynose tetras! They really livin up the tank with their red heads and their motor skills. They are very fast movers!
