hi i recently joined this website and was curious if anyone knew a cichlid, specifically one that only grows to be 6" that swims middle or upper level of a tank. Im also pretty new into the hobby, right now i have 3 sword tails, two kirbensis, and two dwarf plecos all in a 30gallon tank. im looking to get a bigger type of cichlid. ive looked at some types at peacocks and acaras. aswell as some types of mbuna and malawi. The reason i i ask for a cichlid that swims at the top is because once im done stocking my tank im most likely getting a crawfish. Please let me know your thoughts and all feedback is appreciated!

What are your water parameters? For helping select a possible fish.
The closest one I know of is the Angelfish, though your tank is too small for them. Kribensis are very aggressive when they've got fry, swordtails can be considered food for a big Angelfish, and the plecos need driftwood.
