I have been noticing this growth spreading on my live rock for some time now. Any ideas what it is? Thanks!

Looks like bacterial build up of some kind.

Thanks sniperhank. Should I keep it or try to remove it? If need to remove, how would I go about without killing everything else on the rock?

You could try scraping it off and siphoning it out.
