Any know what these are?

Found these plant looking things on one of my live rocks.....I think they may be some type of invertebrate though because they shrink and stretch and go away and come back all in a matter of hours....does anyone know what they are??

They look like mushrooms to me. Soft coral.

Ok cool......thanks.....do you know if they are safe to keep or should I get them out.....I love all the different growth and stuff in my tank so if they won't harm my Lil buddies or try to take over r the tank they are a welcome addition.

People normally pay money for mushrooms perfectly safe, nothing should be in danger from them.

Sweet!!...lol.....yeah the rock they are on has had so many surprises on and in it.....got a good pick at the store....lol..it has another couple smaller ones in a few other spots too....thanks for the help

Oh ok...well I thought it was bad so I cleaned it out.....there is still a little left that I was just about to clean out as well....is it bad? Or should I let the remaining part go on and grow back?

They won't hurt anything. Most of the time they just die off anyway, they're the simplest animal there is.
