I've got 3 zebra danios left; caught six, but I think the smart ones are left. Tank is planted with lots of rocks and driftwood, so it would be quite a project to deconstruct the tank.
That made me LOLI'm going to put a bigmac in there!
they are pigs! Lil aquatic oinkers! That made me LOL
update.. Tried the OS method with a car battery, hmmm I think I should call someone.. Anyone know the number for 911?Oh my! I remember having to catch Zebra Danios in my heavily planted tank! Minnows with superchargers! Here's what I invented to use next time. OS.
That bottle method looks great! I'll have to try that for my kuhli loaches! They're a pain to catch because they navigate by touch not by eyesight..
The method I usually use for fish though is wait a couple hours after the lights have been off and the tank has been in total darkness. Then turn on just enough light in the room (a lamp or something) so that I can see. But the fish are still in that dazed sleepy state. They usually "sleep" at the surface, so they're easy to catch! I caught an Odessa barb this way and mollies.
