Anybody have a clue as to what this may be?

It looks like some type of sponge maybe but I have no clue. I just noticed it today.

Is it pinkish colored? I have several of those living in two of my tanks. Never caused any problems and they havent really gotten that much bigger than when I first got it.

Yep it's pink and never noticed it there before so thought it was weird.
