Looks a lot like grape calerpa to me

Looks more like halimedia than grape caulerpa to me. The grapes are spherical on the caulerpa and those definitely aren't

After looking online with everyone's help I believe it to be halimeda. Now my question is do i need to get rid of it ?

I think I have the same thing. It's on sale at liveaquaria.com they say it doesn't handle extensive pruning, so try cutting it off.

Not at all. It's a decorative plant that will consume some nitrate and phosphate for you
