Apple snails eggs

Any one give advice how to help raise a successful clutch of Apple snail eggs? Is it possible for an apple snail to sabotage the clutch of another snail? I ask because I had two clutches in one corner of my tank for the past two week. Tonight I saw one of my snails heading for that cornerbut didn't think much of it. Went to town with my dad. Came home and both clutches are at the bottom of my tank now. This is three clutches this has happened to. These were laid high above the waterline too. I attached a picture of the first clutch.

They look for a good place to lay the eggs. They don't care about the other eggs afaik.

You can remove the eggs and hatch them in a container, I haven't done it myself, I think TMaier has done it. You can PM her.

I have been raising mystery snails for 3 years now with many in the tank and have never had a snail knock down a clutch. YouTube has some great tutorials.

My best success was putting a small box or shelf to sit egg clutches in that was still in the tank. Attached with suction cups. This stuff is easy to make something with.

I like the idea of keeping them inside the tank as when they hatch they go straight to the water!

I got a suction cup soap dish today at Dollar Tree that I think will catch the clutch if it goes to fall off the tank.

I will keep you posted.
