I am new to forum I have a 72 gallon bow front I am trying to get started to transfer my African cichlids from 36 gallon bow front. I bought Aqua Terra black sand and rinsed it very good. I filled tank half way water is cloudy and bubbles all over. Also a sandy film on top just a little but not good any help. Hope I gave enough info if not I can.

Welcome to AA! I would do a water change sadly lol, all the sand at the top are dirt particles that won't settle.
