Has anyone besides me, purchased aquarium plant bulbs from Walmart? Mine are about 2 weeks old in my tank and they have a white growth on them that looks like mold you would see growing on something in the fridge. Is this ok or are these plants bad?
Thanks for the advice

What bulbs? Some of those are non-aquatic (regardless of the label) & will just slowly rot. <I never trust livestock from Wally's ....>

If you see no growth & fungus like growth, chances are the bulbs are dead. Try squishing them, if they feel soft, they are dead.

white growth prolly is mineral deposits from the water evaporating. If its fuzzy... then yeah thats mold/fungus....but ive never seen that happen.

some times they dont live other times they do grow. they are bad. they are cheap and some times you get nice ones out of them.
